Double Luck Garage!

Several dump truck loads of red clay are brought in to prepare the foundation site.

A bulldozer spreads the clay over the site to build the foundation pad.
The site must be leveled, of course, and is raised a few inches to create drainage away from the foundation
site.
The dead grasses in the foreground bear witness to the great drought of 2000!

The foundation subcontractor (Pfeffer Concrete, Bellville, TX) begins building forms.
The Garage contains a elevated storage pad at one end.
Starting with a tire bump, there is a gentle slope towards the main door at the far end.

28 yards of concrete is poured to produce the foundation for the Garage.
Forms are placed to build the breezeway between the Garage and the
Double Luck Farm House
(not shown in photo).
